Not one pearson invented the drums it aridginated around the early 1900's.People wanted to play military marching snares and basses at once.They used hand divises to do the bass and drum sticks for the snare.Later someone invented the bass drum petal so you can use both hands on the snare.this one guy could do a role on the bass and every one else wanted to be able to.So he invented the double bass petal.
